HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Your attitude is the corner stone of how you perceive the world around you. If you have a negative attitude, everything you experience is going to be viewed through the filter of negativity. Conversely, when you have a positive attitude it will propel you to take on your work day with a positive outlook to tackle the challenges you may face in your day. Not only will this benefit your work tasks, but it will have a positive impact on your relationships around the office as well. SCHEDULE A BREATHER FROM YOUR DESK
Nobody likes to stay in one place for too long. You may be able to bust out 10 hours straight at your desk for a little while, but that is going to take its toll one you. If there is a park nearby or somewhere you can get up and watch around, then take a few minutes and get away. This will help you recharge, refocus, and give you a second wind to go dominate your work day!
We live in the technological era and just about everyone is connected to their smart phones on and off the clock. Whether it is answering emails during work to scrolling your social media feeds in your down time, we are always “plugged in.” At some point in your day, try to disconnect. Turn off the phone and just absorb the word around you. It is always good to stop and smell the roses.
